“Of all forms of caution, caution in love is perhaps most fatal to true happiness.” Bertrand Russell

 

I can still smell him-
A heady mix of roses and sunshine
Filling me when my mind empties of his near memory
And with just one word
With the contortion of just one syllable
That scent could be my everyday.
Pragmatism is too easily disabused.
